Adidas has continually looked to its history for future inspiration, many of which arrive under the same name in completely new designs that utilize it’s namesake’s heritage. Options like the popular Nite Jogger and recently-revived Streetball come to mind, and in this instance, come together to forge the adidas Niteball.
It saw a pretty solid debut back in mid-2020, but as the story goes for a lot of adidas’ new silhouettes, it failed to capitalize, once again seeing delays in follow-up releases, leaving it too long between drinks to ride the wave all the way to shore. Despite the waiting, the silhouette has put out some bangers, albeit few and far between. The next pair, which has already arrived at adidas locations in Asia is another that would have benefitted from a first wave push, but bangs nonetheless; the adidas Niteball “Big Logo”.
