Jordan Brand is going full-speed with the Jordan 6 Rings for the new year, with the hybridized silhouette slinging out a sample of sleek new colorways over the past week, all of which are taking inspiration of classic Air Jordan colorways both OG and otherwise. Following on from the recently revealed “Hare” and “Aqua” options comes this Jordan 6 Rings “Light Graphite” which, from first inspections, appears to arrive inspired by the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “Cool Grey.”
The Retro pair features a mix of grey, orange, red, black and white, though unlike the aforementioned inspired-pairs, this does appear in moderately different blocking. For this release, we can expect to see medium grey nubuck uppers paired with jet black patent leather overlays, liners, and hardware.
Complimentary accents of red and orange arrive throughout the pair’s branding callouts headlined by the Air Jordan 8-inspired chenille tongue medallions and the pair is then completed by a striking white midsole wedged in between a black rubber outsole for maximum contrast.
