In fact, just last month the silhouette released in a colorway directly inspired by the famed black/alternate jerseys of the late 1990’s/early 2000’s. This next pair appears to do that too, all while capturing the essence of late 90’s hoops through the use of patent leather — a move made famous by Mike.
This release dabbles in buttery smooth black leathers across the upper, heel, and tongue, with branding embroidered in Philly’s famous red, white and black of the era. Mudguards are primed in vibrant red patent leather with a midsole paint to match, before resting atop a semi-translucent black rubber outsole to complete the design.
Fanatical Philly fans and adorers of Iverson’s signature line can scoop these up from Reebok.com as the clock ticks over from midnight into December 14th, and if you miss out on your size that night, a wider release will be available from 10 am ET on December 15th.
