Unveiling of the Mystery Box-release Kyrie 7 Pre-Heat collection, it’s become clear that Kyrie and co. will be delivering some of the most personal, storied, and inspired releases in all of footwear for 2021. It’s a long-running tradition of Kyrie to incorporate his personal influence into his signature line, this time revisiting the “Roswell Rayguns” concept utilized by Nike SB in 2005 on this Nike Kyrie 7 “Raygun”
Kyrie was a skateboarding enthusiast, which has led him to not only wear some of the most beloved SB Dunks off-court, but also bring their colors and motifs to his signature collection. Back in 2017, the Brooklyn Nets guard then a Boston Celtic, brought the fictional basketball team to life on a Kyrie 3 PE. The design won’t follow the traditional design of the OG Dunk, instead opting for a new interpretation whilst using the same palette of black, white, orange, and yellow ,though it does include the dual-wielding alien motif made so famous by Nike SB.
