Nike Kobe 5 Protro Mamba Week Release Dates

During Mamba Week, Nike will champion Kobe’s legacy and the Mamba Mentality that so fittingly represents the athlete and the man through three key efforts: providing a $1 million donation to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, amplifying Kobe’s message through the Mamba League and extending Kobe’s legacy of inspiration and innovation through select Kobe products.

On August 23rd, Nike will release the Kobe 5 Protro “Big Stage” that nods to the famed Big Stage colorway from the 2010 NBA Finals and graphic mosaic used on the Championship Parade PE. On August 24th aka Mamba Day, the Kobe 5 Protro “5x Champ” colorway will become available. On August 27th, Nike will be releasing the Undefeated Kobe 5 Protro “What If” Pack that’s inspired by the 12 teams that passed on Kobe Bryant in the draft. One pair is comprised of a combination of colors from those 12 teams, while the other pair includes colors from the franchise (Hornets) that made the trade, symbolizing the What If? motivation that drove Kobe to outwork his opponents. On August 29th, Nike will finally releasing the “EYBL” Kobe 5 Protro.
