College-inspired releases are certainly nothing new in the droves of Jordan Brand releases, but if the past few were any indication, most are made exclusive to the players and coaches on the respective teams. Fall 2020, however, may mark the more accessible return of these very offerings, as the Air Jordan 5 makes an official debut in the Oregon Ducks’ signature colors. As part of the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, the upper constructs of a premium suede dyed to the titular green shading.
Pops of yellow round off the associated palette across the midsole while tongues bear a darkened reflective finish accented with matching Jumpman insignia. Elsewhere at the heel, the pair applies further collegiate sports references as a jock tag stitches on in bright red.
